Which part of level 1538 are you having issues with, have you managed to get a 1 star score?

This was fixed in an early update as far as I know, do you know which version do you have installed?

Yeah it's still ongoing for now, should be sorted in the next update apparently. Workaround for now is to play the level on PC as it seems to work fine there.

As long as you actively connected your game to either Facebook or Kingdom, your progress and gold bars will be saved and synced to it. Boosters and messages are only locally stored so those never sync. If you check on Facebook directly and load the game there, on what level do you appear on?

That's what happens on timed levels, the level only end once the timer is up so if you have already reached the minimum score but a candy bomb is about to blow if you make another move, don't make another move... just let the timer run down to 0 and you've passed.

If the board isn't dropping any green and blue then that sounds like it could be a bug, have you recorded it so it can be looked at?

If you have the Facebook app installed first make sure that no-one is currently logged into it. Next, go into Safari and make sure you are logged into your FB account from the FB site directly.
