If the problem persists the please check if the connection from your game to Facebook is working correctly. This thread will help you out: https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/lost-your-connection-to-facebook-ios
If you still don't have the Mystery Mountain then I suggest you do a re-installation of the game.
1) Make sure you have the game connected to Facebook or Kingdom (this will save your progress, highscores and gold bars) To save your boosters you'll need to do a backup of your mobile data - for instance iCloud.
2) Un-install the app
3) Reboot your iPad
4) Now it's time to download the app and install it again. Find the app on on iTunes and click on 'install'
5) After the game has been installed you can now start Pet Rescue and have the Mystery Mountain available.
6) Don't forget to connect the game to Facebook (blue button) or Kingdom (orange button) in order to retrieve your game progress, highscores and gold bars. For the boosters you'll need to do a restore process in order to recreate them.

I had a discussion with the developers about this and it is a feature that we were testing with randomly selected players.

Our Game Studios are constantly working on enhancing our games by introducing new features, gameplay or concepts. To ensure the change is a positive one, a randomly chosen group of players is always selected to trial the feature and based upon how the change is viewed we decide whether the change is one we want to permanently implement or not.

We release new exiting promotions frequently, so don’t worry if you are not getting this specific one – You will most probably get to enjoy another of our promotions soon!

Any doubts, please let me know.

Not getting much help here from those who can help. I have an iPad. No mystery mountain & have been waiting for weeks for the boosters available on oct 7.What to do? Seems like someone techy could help us?!

I did all that, not only do I still not have Mystery Mountain but I've lost all my boosters! Can you please explain how to 'restore' boosters?

I do not have mystery mountain either, I get it every weekend since day 1, logged in and out of facebook connection as well. All is updated, playing with a Galaxy Tab 4 android. If I uninstall / reinstall I will lose all my boosters :-(

also please give details on "To save your boosters you'll need to do a backup of your mobile data - for instance iCloud." When I delete & reinstall I loose all my boosters. Bummer, should not be that way.

Can you help me get Mystery Mountain? Haven't been getting island either.
