A hearty welcome to all King game players!  Christmas holds a different meaning to one and all.  Some countries have traditional cultures.  Many celebrate it as a religious holiday.  Yet, some might not celebrate it at all.  I created a Christmas story that you might enjoy reading here.

Let’s hear from all of you!  Please let us know whether you celebrate this holiday and how.  My family never celebrated this holiday, but once my children were born we celebrated in our own way.  So, I would love to hear how you and your family celebrated it as you were growing up, or how you and your family celebrate it now. <3<3

Before closing this message, I would like to offer a link to help you find your way around the community.  Let's learn more about the King community!

Also, please make sure to check out the Contest Area for a chance to win gold bars!   You can check if your game is running any current contests, as well as the community contests (General).

    Hi @Elsa

Christmas is only celebrated by around 15 percent of Egyptians who are Christians, or commonly known as the Coptic Orthodox Christians of Alexandria. It's just that the celebration of Christmas is not done in December and not carried out on a large scale like other American and European countries. Like Orthodox Christians in Russia and Serbia, Christmas in Egypt will only be celebrated on January 7 according to the ancient Julian Calendar.
And for celebrated we always have cookie Kahk

Wishing you and Pet Rescue Saga Family a very great Christmas

Thank you @kiara_wael for sharing!  It will be interesting to share with everyone here and I look forward to seeing what everyone has to say.  That cookie looks great!  That's interesting that you celebrate it at a different time.  I have to ask @firebombmarkus to comment because he lives in Serbia so they must have the same time as you.
  • Great post 😊 Thank you for tagging me @Elsa Actually, you are right. We celebrate Christmas here on the 7th of January. When we were kids it was more interesting to celebrate and there was always a liberal table to choose the food you like. The whole family gathers at grandparents' house and we have a meal together. Now, when we are grown-ups, it's less festive as we tend to be busy and not all of us can attend. Grandparents are not among us anymore but we try to keep their spirits alive in our minds.

Thanks for sharing @firebombmarkus!  Families today are definitely not the same as they were a couple of generations ago.  Without the grandparents to keep the family together it’s totally different.
