Game crashes immediately when opening Petopia

We're currently experiencing an issue where the game crashes when you try to access the Halloween Petopia. If you have this issue, please submit your PlayerID and information about how it occurs in this discussion. The issue is already being investigated by the game studio - but getting more information is always helpful to us when solving issues.
I'll keep you up to date to when this is solved. Keep checking this discussion for updates!

it wouldnt be so bad if there was a way to bypass this and just play the game. Its taking longer and longer to reach the actual game in most King products with constant popups about events, races, inviting friends, etc. I just want to play the game without all the junk and without having to buy a new ipad. There is no reason whatsoever that this game shouldnt be able to run on ios12 or lower.

Please consider adding an opt out on petopia in the future as I can’t play now for the next 25 days due to it crashes as soon as I log on

When I go to play Halloween Peporia it kicks me out straight away and I can’t play. I have updated but it makes no difference

@FluffyDinosaur I also have the problem that my game can no longer be opened. I had reached Petopia city level 20 and thought the event was great. Unfortunately, I can no longer open my game, it hangs when loading. I did the normal troubleshooting measures (update done, clear cache, device completely turned off to leave it off for at least 1 minute, switching between wifi and mobile data - nothing helps). I can't open the game anymore. I have 3 GB of RAM free space, 8 GB of free device space. My phone is Andriod version 8.0, my ID is 5688606047.
If there is no other way to solve it, please remove the event from my game. I can't open the game, lose my winning streak, daily bonus and can't play the daily challenge or any level.
I am very sad about it. I would prefer the game to be playable again with the event. But if necessary, remove the event from my game.
