Dangerous Ads

Its one thing to have glitchy ads and third rate products but quite another to have dangerous, disgusting ads. Parasites causing diabetes? Tai Chi toning you up in 28 days. (Oh and the lady with the daughter’s-her tattoo also miraculously disappears) A mixture to cure dementia? There should be a class action suit against king.

I got a reply that the bottom left corner of ad (although it could be in the right corner, depending on ad), will bring up a way to flag the ad. I tried it. It works. In the ad, there's a small circle with an i or a vertical line that you can click . It will bring up choices for how to report the ad. I've not seen the offending ad since I clicked this.

Got another reply from KING customer service that they didn't receive my response. However, the ad company asked for more information. I'm not seeing the ad anymore, so there's hope the company with the ad modified the content.

Unfortunately, some ads do not work as intended or include questionable content. The best way to make the King advertisement team aware of issues is to use the process described in the following article from our Help Center.

It is important to report faulty or misleading ads. The more complaints submitted about a given ad, the greater the likelihood it will get fixed or removed completely.

ai is creating many, I agree. Content, however, is up to the company. As a consumer, I speak up. Consumers are not stupid. We shouldn't accept ads implying we are. IMHO.

I actually wrote to support about this. I replied FOUR times, providing names of the products and screen shots of the ads I found objectionable. Support claims they got nothing. So I went to the companies' websites. I'll keep you posted! (Support is at the bottom of this page. 'contact us')

I haven’t seen the parasite ad, or the one with the mixture to cure dementia! Wow, that seems outrageous. To think that some time ago I complained about a bothersome ad for a dating app… it doesn’t seem so bad in comparison. 😯

The Tai Chi one I have seen even on YouTube. They seem to be everywhere. They are shoddily created using AI imagery, so they don’t even pay actors, and there are innocent people out there who sadly will believe them and pay lots of money for nothing.

I hate to say, because we are on their community and we use their games supposedly for free, but King doesn’t really care, as long as it gets paid every time we click on ads in its games. 😔 And they make some levels impossible, so we either end up having to watch those ads, or paying money for boosters in order to pass…
