I initially missed the trick in this level, but once you know, it's easy.
The clue is right at the start of the level. See the paint booster?
Pets only fall when there is a X2 block in the level.
Do not remove the X2 blocks until AFTER the Pet is above it!

In the 10296 level there are 5 pets but they can't come it's so confusing n mysterious that when those pets come out or not...

Yes, I get the random levels once the latest levels are finished, but, once I get the new levels, it will make me play forever the last of the levels I already played, unless I close the app right after winning said level and open it again. For example, right now the last level for me is 10242. If I win it, I will get the random levels, but when they add the next batch, instead of being able to play 10243, it will make me play 10242 over and over again. By the way, the new Petopia is very pretty! I only just got it. Very medieval. 😊

Hey Diana! Thanks for replying back to me. Just to make sure I understand correctly, does this mean you're not receiving the random levels at all? 🤔 The expected behavior is that once you complete the latest regular level, random levels should appear and stay available until new regular levels are released.

I think eeeveryone has that glitch, which, as I’ve said before, forces us to play the last level of the previous batch over and over again, every time we get new levels. The way that I have found around it is to play and win the level, then close the game and open it again. Then it moves on to the new levels.

However, there are still a lot of people who struggle with that, mostly if the repetitive level is one of the hard ones.😔

The other way to avoid the glitch is not playing that last level until the new ones arrive, but I’m not patient enough. 😅

Anyway, I play on an iPad Air 5th Generation with iPadOS 18.7.3, but I hardly ever have technical problems.

Hi Diana! Jumping in with the slight delay. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about the levels. It's always interesting to read your feedback, and I really appreciate how much effort you put into helping other players get through challenging levels.

The game is indeed evolving, and the team is running different experiments, so it's understandable that the current experience feels different from what it used to be.

That said, the goal is to make levels passable regardless of boosters. The Level Designers are working on striking the right balance between fun and challenge, while continuously tweaking levels that turn out to be too difficult. That's why every report counts, and player's feedback helps us spot issues early and improve the level experience, so your reports are incredibly valuable. Thank you!

Something else that needs to be fixed is that glitch that forces us to play one level over and over again, every time there are new levels.

Can you please share device you play on? Has it happened this week too?

Hey! Thanks so much for your feedback! Yes, Level 102220 turned out to be quite a tricky one! Luckily, it's been tweaked already. So it should now be more enjoyable and much easier to pass. 😃 Let us know what you think after giving it another try!

I have been playing this game for many many years so pretty experienced. Without doubt the levels are way harder and I am using lots of boosters to pass levels. For years I rarely used gold bars but now using them frequently. The ratio of hard to normal levels has changed ie higher % of hard levels. I think the game is being tweaked to make us buy boosters. I really struggle with m9st of the levels now. I enjoy a challenge but the algorithim sets us up to fail, frequently. Once again may I ask why wire cutters are so rarely given as rewards and only able to be bought with gold bars!

I’m the type of player who wants everything solved quickly, just because I want to finish Petopia as soon as I can. However, there are some levels quite satisfying to me, which I don’t mind if I need to play them again. The ones I find most frustrating are the ones with butterflies that also include line blasters or bombs with a timer, when you almost get to release the butterfly and all of a sudden it blows up. 🤬😅 I will use as many boosters as I can just to get rid of those levels.

I'm finding them easier, in that I no longer have to buy extra moves to get through without boosters.
The last episode I needed boosters or extra moves was episode 664, Level 9943 (released 19th May)

Some levels are still very hard and need working on for a few days before I manage to solve them, but (for me) that is not too long 😸

I've had a lot more fun and less frustration as I've come to expect Levels to be possible now (without needing more moves or boosters) so embrace the challenge of solving each level.
Previously, even if a level was passable, the initial experience of being unable to complete it in the first few tries brought frustration as I'd just expect it to be short of moves or need boosters.

@dianakotori I was interested to read your comments about some levels being more difficult to understand (like those that you “have to have a purple block and a concrete block above it, for the pet to drop on that column”) as these are the types of Levels I love!
I know we all play differently and have different expectations of the game, but levels appeal to me more when you cannot initially work out how to rescue the Pets.
I'll take my time and obessively play a level over and over until I figure it out, lol
The opposite end of the playing spectrum are players who just want to get past each level as quickly as they can! I know that you're in the middle of these two extremes 🙂

I do agree with your observations on older levels being changed after release, the only reason I think levels should be changed is if they are hard/impossible levels that need tweaking to fix them. Levels should not be made harder after many players have already passed them.

I’m on random levels right now, which means I’ve finished, for the time being.

I think there’s a good variety of easy and hard levels throughout (sometimes I find normal levels harder than those that say they’re hard). However, some of them are plainly impossible without boosters, or having to use extra moves or the cherry bomb. That’s a bit unfair to players that don’t have lots of boosters or gold, and don’t have the chance to see ads to pass. I think every level should be passable without boosters or gold.

I have also noticed a number of levels have changed for the worst since we veterans played them. For example, there’s this level, which sadly I can’t remember the exact number right now, but when I passed it for the first time, the in-game booster was a column blaster. Years later, someone in the community asked how to pass, I tried to play it and noticed the in-game booster was a line blaster, which was useless. This is just an example, I have seen many more.

I also think some of the levels are very difficult to understand, like those that you “have to have a purple block and a concrete block above it, for the pet to drop on that column”. I’m not saying make them as easy as Level 1, but make the resolution a bit easier to spot.

EDIT: I just got the most recent levels, from 10167 to 10177. It seems that I didn’t get the repeat glitch this time.

EDIT AGAIN: I still have the glitch. It’s easy to fix by closing the game and opening it again, but still…
