The pet coins on my PC & my phone are different. Why’s that?

The Pet Coins were only on Facebook and King earlier and mobile devices didn't have this currency at all. When it was introduced on mobile as well, the currency is different and therefore not syncing between computer and mobile since they are two different currencies.
The Pet Coins on mobile can be synced between different mobile devices though and to the W10 app.
Why the pet coins don’t sync between Facebook & mobile devices? I want to know

The Pet Coins do not sync between Facebook and mobile devices.
The Pet Coins on Facebook are only available on Facebook.
Pet Coins on mobile do sync to the Windows 10 app and all mobile devices, but not to Facebook.
The Gold Bars do sync across all platforms in all games, but the Boosters do not sync between devices.

Having completed all levels and waiting patiently for every Tuesday to come around, I find it so frustrating to not be able to complete weekly challenges or monthly challenges because you can't progress. I'd be happy to have repeated challenges from earlier inthe game, where you can progress rather than none!
