Pet Rescue Broken/Stuck

Hi. Pet Rescue seems to be stuck even after doing an update today. The "Critter Carnival" still pops up. There was no usual "Mystery Mountain" this past weekend, and every time I try to buy gold bars from my piggy bank or power ups from the shop, I get a communication error. This happens on wifi at home, work, and anywhere else I've tried. It also won't let you buy cherry bombs or buy extra moves at the end of a game to continue. I've powered off my phone and quit the app several times. I don't want to re-install it because I'm worried I'll lose my progress. I can send screenshots if you need them. Any updates would be appreciated, it's really the only game I play on my phone. Thanks.
