Is there a way to opt out of having Petopia game when it is released?

I really enjoy Petopia Halloween & Christmas time. The last years Petopia, I enjoyed them. Halloween & Christmas are my favorites. I didn't expect or want this back to back ~~Petopia~~. I'll give you my reasons and ask if you can put an ~~opt~~ out for those who don't want to play. When you started Petopia, it didn't slow my phone down, and the game never crashed. I have no idea what was done to start causing this. I have a Samsung Galaxy A14, and a Moto 5g. Neither should have a problems with Pet Rescue. They never have. I've been playing for years. Now, Petopia slows down both my phones and crashes on every Petopia. I have plenty of space and nothing else downloaded as far as apps and games. I have one game and no other downloaded apps on my phone that didn't come with the phone. What came on there, most was uninstalled or stopped. I am asking if you all can think about giving us a chance to opt in or opt out of playing the Petopia, please? I enjoy playing but not since the game started crashing, I'd rather just keep playing the daily / weekend and my level games. I'm not the only one, I searched and then saw other posts were they weren't wanting this right after the others last year. Please consider it. Thanks

Thanks for reading and responding. I have one game, Pet Rescue, I've been playing for years. I've never had my pet rescue crash or slow down my phone. I don't have Iphone or a new phone every year, like some do. It doesn't matter, I get the updates and my phone is fine until these Petopia's. I now can't play the games, and I have two working phones. As of yesterday, it crashed and both phones are now not working while Petopia is on. I wish I could opt out of Petopia! 🛑 🙅🏽‍♀️ I just want the option to opt in to play it or opt out don't want to play it. I wouldn't ever post about this if my phone wasn't crashing on it. I can't even get it to open now to get my daily free boosters and play mystery mountain for the weekend. Just to show you how it's Petopia crashing my phone, when it's gone, my phone will open up the game with no problem, and I'm back to playing my regular levels. I have to wait now the rest of the month to play pet rescue. The game won't open anymore now. I went to facebook yesterday to see if the game opens, it does and no problem because there was no Petopia on facebook. I saw the Halloween Petopia, that's all I saw. I didn't get it. I still don't. I thought that they would let us play our regular games, and maybe, just maybe, they would allow us to rest a bit and wait until Spring and Petopia which will be probably forced on us in a few months. I can now see I might have to find a new game to play. I'm on level 9504 on facebook, I'll continue on there just to play my levels. Sometimes, a person want to play on there phone. As long as we are forced to play Petopia, my phone will continue to crash as I play it. It doesn't crash at the very beginning. As the game is played and more usage is used, it starts to slow down, then it won't open again. I came on facebook yesterday, haven't been in years. I wanted to see if my level was still there. I was hoping I didn't see Petopia, I didn't. I'll play on there on my computer. Thanks

I agree that Petopia can become tiring and boring if it happens so often.

In this case, “less is more”, I’d say. I love it. I really do, but it’s funnier to have it just for the seasons’ change, like it did before: Spring, Summer, Autumn (Halloween) and Winter (Christmas), and, most importantly, it should be optional to play it, just like everything else in the game is. As I mentioned before, I don’t like Mystery Mountain, just because if you lose one level, it takes you back to the beginning. I’d be very angry and most probably would abandon PRS altogether if MM became compulsory.

Also, if you look at the most recent Petopia closely, it’s a “revamp” of the Halloween one, just with different colours.

I think, if the developers really really want to improve this game, they should listen to their players, work in making Petopia optional, release new levels more often, don’t make them too easy, but don’t make them impossible either. Make the game friendly for older devices, because not everyone has the iPhone 17.
