Cannot log in to my account via email

I have continually tried to log in to my account but keep getting a notification that there is a connection error and try again a bit later. I have cleared cache and restarted device. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you mind telling me which device you're playing on and the game app version you have installed? Also, have you by any chance tried reinstalling the game app?

Unfortunately I just uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my Samsung and I have lost my progress. I had achieved level 667 (after spending weeks on level 666) and now I am sitting on level 265
