I keep winning the rescue race (by miles) but my ranking just keeps getting worse. Am I missing something? I was 1st,now 8th.... And there is never a reward for winning (usually I'm on 5 lives when I log in and accept the win).
It depends what you mean by 'top player'? For example, there are many players who use boosters on every level to get 3 stars and/or finish episodes within hours...personally I don't consider them 'top' but I do understand we all have different ways of playing.
I don't care about how quickly levels are passed (for some players being first is their priority) Or how many stars you get. For me, it is the journey to get to the end and the challenge in passing every level without extra help from a win streak or boosters. What is a Saga without the journey? lol
I think ranking in online games is irrelevant because there are too many ways to be 'top'
I'd be interested to hear what other players priorities are in playing though, and respect that we are all different.
Hi Lynette, I am with you on your view of completing levels. After reaching the end of the game a number of times I am now quite consious about not pushing on to win a competition too eagerly. I have always felt like using a booster is cheating and not worried about how many stars I get. I'm happier if I get through it on my own but running out of lives occasionally pushes me to use s booster, especially on that sunny weather bonus where you can earn 2+hrs of free play!
