Hello @Zaide if your device is connected to the internet when you play Candy Crush you are playing online. If you mean how do you participate in online competitive play then there is no such option for Candy Crush as it is a single player game.

Yes, @Zaide some levels are very difficult if you are trying to complete them in one attempt. The consensus is that some levels are designed to leave you one move, or one jelly, or one Gummi Dragon short of the required target in order to persuade people to buy boosters/gold for their game to protect their win streak.
