Read it where? The last available level is 1790 at present. If you've reached it then perhaps you could tell us all how you managed to beat 1779 which appears to be effectively impossible.

I'm sure this isn't the first level set up in this way so you should know this but on any score target level which contains countdown bombs you must complete all moves (30 in this case) before you are credited with a score. If a bomb counts down to zero at any point during the level you will lose a life. You can't 'cheat'…

I'm not surprised. You're supposed to create a wrapped/striped combination not a wrapped/strobe combination. Why would you expect to get credit from something that is not required?

Yes, the level has been upgraded from moderately difficult to pretty much one of the hardest levels in the game. I'm not sure that there's any specific help to be offered here. The wiki page (http://candycrush.wikia.com/wiki/Level_1711) is pretty thin on suggestions but it might help.
