If you check here: https://care.king.com/en/blossom-blast-saga/android-ios-recommended-devices You will see that the original iPad mini is not supported so there is no guarantee that the games will work on that device anymore. 

The game is designed to recognise the highest progress not the user so if you want to play with 2 accounts then to keep them separate, each time you want to play you need to do the following: log out of candy crush, log out of facebook, restart the device and log back into both with the right account. 

Use YouTube. I always head there when I'm stuck. There's a plethora of videos of players passing the level with and without boosters. You can use these to see what you need to do: https://www.youtube.com/results?q=1189+candy+crush&sp=CAI%253D 

If you save your game to Kingdom (the orange icon in the settings) does this stop the game from doing this? Maybe it's only doing it to make sure you're saving your game.

You need to go to the app store and download the latest version of the game. Go to Samsung apps or Google Play whichever you used and then you can download it. There should be over 2000 levels available. 

Sign out of your Facebook/Kingdom account, sign back in again. This worked for me. Other than that, clear the game cache, see if that refreshes the memory. 

How did you save your game previously? It might be that you just need to connect to Facebook or Kingdom again and your levels will return. Try this :)

I haven't seen any other comments about this level. Can you pass it and capture a screenshot of the end of level pop-up where it shows you passed it. This will help :)
