I had difficulty getting three stars on occasions before the new Hero Mode and now, as @BQN537 says, it is almost impossible to gain three stars with Amelia. On some levels, I have had a good board when I've reached Hero Mode, but it is programmed to make the selection of cropsie and spoils the game completely.
