Its good you fet lesser purple to collect from new levels than me. Mine requires usually 2000+ candies from new levels for those tasks minus Red.

The bronze and classic boxes have colo collection tasks that work on old levels but only when you win the level according to another account that got the new ones.

True though in some episodes I played it wasn't easy as after I've seen a level with reds I seen some without it. But if the first three ones have Red, then you have the chance to finish it within those.

Red in new levels is easy because you need fewer to collect. I had never skipped it except in one case because I was done with the new levels for the recent gameplay. Special Candy Collections count on old levels but the color collection with new level wins not on old levels, however.
