I've read from other players that if you take your game over to King.com and synchronize there then the roadblock is easier to pass. Give it a try and if you need any help with it let me know :)

Try some normal troubleshooting steps: Restart the tablet. Make sure all other apps are closed. I would also check that you have some space available in your memory and ram (if both are full then apps will struggle to run).

I would remove the game from facebook (from the game menu on the left) and clear your browser cache and re-add the game. This will clear out any old data and your progress will be fine. Try it :)

It sounds like the game did not recognise the progress. Did you play it again? That's about the only thing you can do.

Can you explain what happens, I mean does the game kick you out? When you fail a level, what happens then, does the game freeze or something?

I haven't had any issues with the game my end. I can only recommend that you take some steps on your devices to make sure that they are running smoothly. Things like, closing all your apps, restarting regularly, updating apps. Even check that both the devices are not full up :)
