That's confusing, if the app says installing and nothing happens, how are you able to get to a point where you can use gold bars to continue on?

Hmmm I think for any kind of purchase (be it gold bars or boosters) you need to be connected to either Wifi or have Mobile data. Once you have the boosters in your inventory then you can use them without being connected.

Yeah as you say Kindle generally lags behind the others. Don't think anyone will really be able to give you an answer as King never announce these things in advance, not even for the most popular platforms.
