No I think it may just be because of the theme of the episode, the timer fruits do the same thing, -5 of that particular fruit you've already collected.

Until it's released, I reckon yeah most likely or at least by someone who knows the game inside out. Levels have been known to change after a couple of weeks of being released, if they get enough feedback on it I can imagine it won't take long.

It looks like it was changed to 20 moves, it's confirmed in the Wiki page: http://candycrush.wikia.com/wiki/Level_1963 If you see videos with more moves then that it means they were recorded before it was changed.

What level do you appear on if you load the game directly in Facebook?

No level 496 only gives 15 moves now. If you're seeing a different amount of moves in your game compared to a video your watching, it's a good idea to check the Wiki page to be sure: http://candycrush.wikia.com/wiki/Level_496

That's as far as it will go as the game stopped on PC, it only continued on the Mobile and Tablet version of the game.

Have you done any troubleshooting yet? Might also be a good idea to state what iPad you have as there are a few models knocking around.

Yeah I imagine there is a limit put in place, especially since those lives aren't being requested in the first place. It could also be that they have full lives at that point.

On the desktop, do you play through Facebook or do you have the game app installed? The version for PC and Mobile and tablet aren't the same so there should be no correlations between them, they require different troubleshooting.

Check that you've got the latest update installed. If the the paint brush and can still appear after than then it's still in progress.

If you've connected to Facebook then it will always use your profile picture from, you can change that. If you had another avatar before then you were probably connecting to Kingdom instead. It should go back to your black cat avatar once your disco…

Have you gone into the store directly to see if the update is available? If your on Kindle, I'm not sure if that update has gone out yet. It's generally Android first, followed by iOS and then the rest follows.
