So very, very annoying. Three of my last four boards have awarded the wrapped candy that you DO NOT GET. Please, please fix this. It just adds another layer of annoyance to the game.

When I get stuck on a level I look at You Tube videos of people who have finished that level without boosters. It gives you an idea of what the best strategy is for that level.
