How do I make sure the game saves my progress?

I was playing level 370 and finally beat it but when I went into the game to play again a little while later it showed I was still on the same level and wouldn't let me go to the next one.

The only thing you can do is make sure it's connected to either FB or Kingdom. When playing connected to either FB or Kingdom it syncs your progress automatically to it so if something happens to the progress stored on the device it can be restored.
