Hey Kay, sounds like you´ve been sending lives to friends of yours. You see their names on the start screen on the bottom and there´s a red heart beside it. If you click on this, it´ll change colour, which means that you´ve sent them a life. If you want to use a life sent to you by a friend, you´ll first need to have less than 5 lives. You can then click on the envelope on top of your screen and use a life in case your friends have sent you one.
