Progress in Pyramid saga is not syncing between devices

I have an iPhone 6 and iPad 2 and some levels do not sync when completed. They are both connected to Facebook. It therefore appears that I have skipped levels and the latest episode has 4 levels in a row that have not synced to the iPad. Any ideas?

What iOS version do you run on your iPad2?

Restart your iPad2 and check for updates for your iPad2 and installed apps.
