Connection Problems

Hi!

I've been having connection problems for a couple of weeks now in Pyramid Solitaire. I have a host of other king games with none of them having any such issues. The internet symbol just constantly goes in circles like it is trying to load, despite having full access to the internet, both 5G and Wi-Fi. I'm using an iPhone 13 pro max, if that makes a difference.

The game doesn't connect to allow me to ask king friends for lives, and when I try to purchase, it doesn't even try, it just immediately says there is an error and to try again later. I have attached screenshots based on previous posts I read where they were requested.

I don't want to delete and reload the game because I don't want to lose progress I've made in the meantime if possible.

    Hi @drclwb welcome to the forum of Pyramid Solitaire Saga.

    I'm sorry your game can't connect to the Internet. 

    Can you please try the following steps:

    - check your store for updates and run them

    - clear the cache (Caution do not delete data, so you lose all boosters).

    - Force all apps to close

    - go offline

    - Turn off your device to keep it off for about a minute

    - after turning on your device, go back online and check if the error still occurs.

    I will inquire in the meantime if it might be due to your device.

    Thanks for responding so quickly! I did all your steps except for clearing the cache. I could not figure out how to do it. I followed the directions on how to do it on an iPhone running my ios and there was no option for choosing to clear the cache like there used to be with my old iPhone.

    I took a screenshot to show you.

    I did everything else though exactly as you prescribed and it is still doing the correction errors exactly as before.

    Any other thoughts?

    I am now not able to connect on Candy Crush Saga in the exact same way! Lol


    While I'm still at my same level, when I try to login to my king account, I get the connection error, it doesn't connect for daily rewards, the store, etc.


    🤦🏻‍♀️


    Oh and both Pyramid and Candy are running the most recent versions.

    Hi @drclwb this is strange. 

    Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the settings on an iPhone 13 pro max. I googled but didn't find anything suitable. In any case, you have the latest version of the game (I checked it on my Andriod device).

    What I didn't understand why you're logged out? Did you log out yourself or did the game log you out? 

    I don't know if it's important, but sometimes the studio asks in which country the error occurs. 

    I live in Germany and have no problems. Neither with Pyramid nor with any of the other King games I play.

    The odd thing is, it shows my King Profile Pic at the top. I def did not log out and I'm still at my place in the game.


    Is there a tech support contact that you are aware of that I might be able to contact about it who could use my game ID or something and be magical? I looked but everything led me here!


    Also - thank you so much for taking time out of your day to help me! I'm in the US in Florida! It is amazing that I am receiving assistance from Germany. Sometimes the connection that the internet provides us is truly overwhelming. 😊

I happen to be from Germany. If another player had seen your question first, you might have met someone from Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia or Peru. Or someone from your country.
