Yes, this is something we all experience at the end of the map. It seems like King doesn't care much about those of us who are there, since we tend to make them less money on average than the new players, so I doubt they will change / add events to help us. There are small things you can do to make some things better. For…

I can confirm that I am seeing the new screen before every level, although I am only playing old levels right now, not new ones. I noticed it for the first time this morning. Fortunately, it seems to go away faster than most of the typical pop-ups. Still irritating, though.

Christine is correct that you can win these at any level. And if you are close to but not at the end of the map (above level 17000 or so), it's actually a bit harder than elsewhere on the map. The reason I am saying that people who are at the VERY END of the map have an advantage is this: the tournament has a relatively…

At that speed, you should play normally and see how far it takes you. You might get lucky and have easy groups and be able to win. Although it looks like you might have a tougher than average qualifying group.

This is why so many players don't bother with support, MountainMom. The first automated response doesn't make it clear that a reply is necessary to actually get help, and even the second automated response gives no hint that an actual person might look at it. The automated responses are very unfriendly and off-putting.…

https://community.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/discussion/comment/3380525#Comment_3380525 Honestly that speed is likely fast enough for a tournament with such a small prize. It's more about the number of levels you complete, and how efficient you are at them, for a tournament that only wins 150 gold bars. The high speeds…

That is an interesting question, Christine. I wonder if they just cut every round in half to make it easier to win? My board:

Yes, just 5 for me as well. Clearly the first round is just automatic success. I know I should be spending my time watching ads for the next round, but I'm loving playing the Star Tournament levels, so I keep playing instead despite being double the second place score. Fourth and fifth place aren't even trying - I really…

teeweeping, Prize Palooza is a smaller in-game competition where you actually compete against other players. You can see from the post that it lasts about 10 days and it has 3 stages. If you qualify from the first 2 stages and then come in first place in your group for the third stage, you win 150 gold bars. It is likely…

Amazing! I actually have the event! Looks like the earliest round at least is quite easy - I should spend more time watching ads than playing so that on Wednesday I can rush through the new levels to get back to the Star Tournament. Finally a good reason to play the Star Tournament. It's low key events like this which…
