I preferred the old pets as well. Also, have to second the comment about glitches. So many glitches.

@Angel1207 my gold bars came back! Yay! I had 6 gold bars disappear and I wanted them to but rockets to the circus event. I closed the game a few times and reopened, the bars came back. I think it was perhaps a weak server connection. Hopefully if you try the same it will work for you.

@blossom the last event the gold bars came 2 days after the event ended. I’m sure you’ll receive your gold bars soon.

Thanks @tsaytds! I figured that may be the case, but I have 431 so I know I already hit the 250 either way. Do you know if you played the same level x2 do both those count towards the 250?

My win streak vanished after the most recent update! I was so disappointed as my winning streak was like over 1700 levels. My gold bars disappeared too and I was only able to play the first round of the circus daily event because my gold bars were gone to buy tickets.

I have questions.... 1) If to pass the level you have to rescue 20 pets but you rescued 27, do those extra 7 pets you rescued on that level count towards the 250 pet needed to win 50 gold bars? 2) I passed every level of the game when this contest started so I’ve been going back and playing random levels. Do those count…

@Crazy Cat Lad I was answering the OP’s question. can’t post a screen shot because I fixed the problem. As the OP mentioned the issue was the next level would unlock but then the roadblock would remain on the screen and you couldn’t play the next level/episode. As soon as I updated the game in App Store it was all good.

I have an iPhone XR also and the same thing happened to me. I updated the game in the App Store and it solved it.
