Royal Championship - What do you think?

Hope you are safe too! I've been playing the Arenas since they began as the Royal Championship and yes, the games changed around about that time last year when the algorithms started skewing wins. Some people overcome this problem by spending some gold and others just move on. I used to rank consistently in the the Top Three and now I barely make it to the Top Ten sometimes. If you let yourself get frustrated, you won't have fun.

Here's my own take on the Arena: most of the boards (different types of games) have their little tricks. You can check them out in the community. But if these tricks don't work out for you, it's the algorithm. Then, I just take it that it's my turn to crash. 😏

You can't keep on playing Arenas like before unless you spend gold to "keep your progress" and not lose your streaks. But, I play for fun. Sometimes, work gets in the way and I don't even rank! So I just wait for the next round of RC.

One thing for sure, it's good to hang out here! You meet other people who are interesting and you learn new stuff once in a while. For example, this is the Jelly community so we also talk about the other issues in Jelly, like the design of the game. Recently I learned that those side games where you play 5 games and you get some boosters at Game 5 had changed and I didn't even know. 😂 It used to be that if you don't pass the second game, you would fall back to Game 1 and I hated it so I stopped even looking at them. Now, you just get stuck at the game where you are at until you pass all the way to 5.
