Go on your friends list, click the "friend" you want to remove and then you'll get some options: send/request one life, cancel friendship. Hope I've been helpful.

I completely agree... There's something wrong with the version I have because there's no way to get rid of the sides. I thought I was missing something but I'm not indeed. It doesn't work
