I noticed it from reading and you didn't understand. I've been here for 2 years and I've been going through the idea areas for over a year. I see a lot and help where I can. If you open ideas you get 1 point and if players vote each vote counts 1 point. This is therefore used. I hope it came across understandably !!😉

I am not sure what exactly the issue is. The ones that start a new idea that is a duplicate is often because they haven't read the information properly. There are plenty of other ways to get points and I doubt many are doing it for this reason. I didn't even know we got points for it 🤷‍♂️ As far as I am aware we have no issue in farm like that.

I don't know exactly how it works, but forums and community, imho, should not be rewarded. Be in a community with other players should be already a reward, cause you help them as you like to be helped by them when you need something (or just spend time with others).

I don't know how this point system works, but it can all be avoidable if, like contests, you leave the staff the possibilities to reward someone, for whatever reason they choice. No more points earned via bots/users actions.

Still, is it really so bad if someone spend time to abuse this system? Can someone link me the right place to read the rules? Cause i missed them for the reason i signed just for the reply in the "trophies complains" area, cause they were attacking devs, forgetting there are persons behind a monitor.

I had posted an idea with no idea that points were awarded and I honestly did look to see if the idea was already posted but I can't scroll thru 10 pages either

I also didn't know you get points for submitting ideas. Though when I have submitted an idea I have always tried my best to go through the library to make sure I'm not repeating someone else's idea.

Do not worry. The ideas area is very good so that you can implement ideas for the game. That's what it's meant for and it's right. I opened up a lot of ideas myself, not because of the points, no that it is easier in the game and that the games should be more fun. Please do not be discouraged to open up ideas. They should only apply to the games and that it is implemented in the game. I want to mention it again clearly !!!😉
