Hello Community,

Music and feelings are deeply connected...and we'd love to know: how does the music in the game make you feel?

And what about the sound effects?

Would you rather hear other sounds, other melodies?

Tell us everything, we're all ears!

The players have already opened this. I repeat myself that I keep the tone out to play. (Edit by CM: Rude)

Honestly I find the music slightly annoying 🙉, so I just turn it off automatically 🤭.

The only time I turned it on was when I was playing CCFS to get a screenshot for the Weekend challenge (most of you will know what I'm talking about 😅).

So @LadyRaffie and @Nix66, I believe it would work better if there were fewer sound effects and if the music wasn't as pitchy 🤷. I think the best comparison would be the BubbleWitch saga 3 music 😌.

I love the music in CC Soda and really in all the King games. I mentioned this in another thread but the music chosen for these games is so light and pretty and cheerful that it instantly lifts my spirits whenever I open up a game. The bright pretty colors in the games do that too but I think the music makes me the happiest.

I was sad when they changed the CC Soda music as I didn’t like the new theme. I don’t do well with big changes like that anyway. But I thought the new music was too jazzy sounding and didn’t fit the game. It reminded me of the music that used to go with Shuffle Cats (RIP Shuffle Cats). I’m sorry @Nix66 I know you liked that new music 🙁

Confession: I was so glad when the old music returned to CC Soda that I did a screen recording of the game so I could keep the music in case they changed it again 😄

And I agree with others, the soda bottle popping cap sound effect is fun. But my absolute favorite sound effect was when the Sprinkleshell Turtle would eat the candy and would make such a funny “hangry” sound gobbling up all the candy that it would always make me laugh. I miss that turtle.

I play all of my games on silent, I keep both music and sound effects off.

    Thanks for the tag Nix

Thanks for the tag @Nix66! Unforrtunately or maybe fortunately for me I never listened to the sound effects in my games. I think CC Saga's sounds turned me off because it distracted me from trying to find the next moves. But now that you guys set this up for all the games maybe it's time for me to give it another try.

    Thanks for tagging me @Nix66

@LadyRaffie I play in all games without music. I focus on the tasks of the level and music would distract me. That's why it's turned off by default.

  • Oh, the Soda music is great! I like music on all King games, but Soda is very special!!! 🎼🎶🎵
