it was staycation last year. i hope by the summer, things will have changed, and the doctors say it is ok to go on vacation again. as a country our borders were pretty much shut for most of the past 2 years. lets hope 2022 is an easier year for everyone, so they can make a decision without having to worry about this pandemic.

I'd love a vacation, but, with two family weddings postponed from 2020 because of Covid - and another postponed from 2021 - I'm praying these will all take place this year. They all involve a lot of travel within the country and I'd rather be there than anywhere else in the world.

Voted - when I retired our goal was to spend our winter months in Portugal, to get away from the harsh winters where we live. Well its been two years since we have been able to get back but I would much rather staycation right now to stay safe. If your wondering what our winters are like this picture was taken in 2020 during Snowmageddon when we literally got shut down for 10 days. Fortunately for us we were away on vacation during the storm and just before Covid really started ramping up. Stay safe everyone ☺️

@wykoon, I voted for holidays and hope that we can also go on holiday. Momenthan, we all stay at home because the incidence levels are rising again. Nevertheless, we have booked a holiday and hope that we can do it too.
Overall, our safety comes first. If a holiday is inappropriate due to the situation in my country, we will stay at home.

With COVID and closed boarders, up until the last few weeks it was easier to have a staycation. 😂
