Yeah! I received this email notification when I earned the badge and I don't want to receive earned the badge notifications too.

Thanks for letting us know bout these known issues. I've reported the same.
Whilst waiting for the issue to be fixed, I suggest that you consider marking the email from King as spam so it won't "spam" your inbox. The email domain that im using will automatically filter such message as "secondary" mails in a separate folder. So not a major issue for me.
As for the other issue bout labeling own comment in others' post as "new", I have no solution for you. For me, I'll ignore it cos it doesn't affect my posting. Also, I tend to bookmark certain interesting discussion and will get pop-up notification if someone commented in the bookmarked thread.

@wykoon sending unwanted emails to the Spam folder doesn't stop them from being delivered and your email client still highlights when you have received spam email. From a customer service point of view you should just undo whatever change caused this until you and the team can implement changes that work.
The 1 NEW notification doesn't affect the way I post either, but it does affect the way I browse the sight. As I browse this site mostly on a phone the 1 NEW means I am constantly selecting posts where I am the last new post. This is because on mobile the site does not display the name of the person that posted last.
I am disappointed that your post seems to be saying that as you think there is no problem then there is no problem.

Hi, I'm so sorry to hear about the issue with the email settings - looking into this ASAP.
As for the notification issue, I don't really understand the issue - would you mind describing it a bit more? There was an issue with notifications earlier in the summer but should now be solved. Unsure if this is part of this issue or not.

Hello @FluffyDinosaur until recently when a thread displayed 1 NEW it meant that there had been a new post made in a thread since the last time I had read the thread or made a comment.
Now once I make a post in a thread a 1 NEW notification is displayed even though the new post is me. This means I am forever clicking on threads to look at tge 'new' content just to find that it is a comment I made.
All the 1 NEW you see below are me, but I don't know that until I click to read the new content.
I understand that this wouldn't be as much of an issue on a PC or laptop as the last person to post is displayed on those devices. Mobile is a big part of Candy Crush though so site changes should take mobile into account.
