Yesterday I saw a post and it was told that in North Dakota & South Dakota german is one of the most commonly spoken languages.

Β There are many restaurants that offer German cuisine.

Even they are fascinated by the German language.

I also know that the German language is taught all over the world.

North Dakota

South Dakota

Here is some more information:

German was one of the most widely spoken languages in the United States of America in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Today, German is the second most spoken language in South Dakota and North Dakota.

Sun-drenched California or hip New York attract tons of tourists. A U.S. state like North Dakota sometimes fades into the background. There are only a few holidaymakers there. But this state is particularly interesting for Germans.

Descendants of the Germans rave about sauerkraut

About half of the inhabitants of North and South Dakota have German or Russian-German roots. And they are still present today – in names, on town signs and in the form of traditional dishes.

If you are interested, you are welcome to read it on the Internet!!!

Are there any players from North Dakota & South Dakota here?

If so, you could tell us something about it!

Even I, as a German, could be of great interest.

πŸ‘ Have fun reading! πŸ‘
