That was a total eclipse? So please tell me does it look like nightfall when it covers the sun or is the darkness just in the sky?

It get's quite dark like at dusk and nature freaked out. Nature thinks it is nightime so nighttime behaviors happen. It is quite creepy for lack of a better word.

I had trouble with the tagging yesterday too. It's supposed to happen by me around 2:00ish so it shouldn't get completely dark outside right?

I do not think that you will have total darkness, I am not sure what percentage of sun coverage you will experience? When I just asked Papa Bear (my husband) what he thought about the eclispse in 2017, he described it as a well lit by the moon night effect. Źįµį“„įµŹ

OK, but chances are I won't be looking directly at it. I only have vision in one eye and I can't afford to lose that.

Yes, do not look right at it, you need eye protection to do so. I do not think that the picture I showed you was exactly the total eclispe, probably when it was getting close. It was the best picture that I took. It is hard to try and take pictures with a welding sheild on.Ėź°š¾ź±ą¼ā

Hi @Scooterpie Yes we have known issues with tagging right now we are hoping it will be solved as a priority
Only single tags work and they are even very challenging to do
