Unusual scoring on the leaderboard

curious why the person beneath me continues to gain purples but last played “yesterday” and hasn’t beaten a new level but every time I pass a level and check the board they’ve moved up. Also this round just started today. Player in question is Cinaaaaaa

you can see the sequence by the time remaining each time I check, I also took the cinaaaaaa player profile screenshot in between each round and they’re level count hasn’t moved from 691, and says they last played yesterday each time.
