If you can't draw Denize, then you can try cutting her pieces out and put them together if you've got brass fasteners.

Instructions for assembling her can be found on this Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/candycrush/comments/11czu8x/characters_heres_a_stepbystep_instruction_guide/

I tried making a picture of Denize only by using Paint.net, and this is what I got.

The problem that I had with what I intended to be my definitive fan art of Denize was that her head was too big, and she looked too skinny. This paint.net version attempts to address these issues, but I then wrestled with the challenge of trying to nail down her girth while also making her look snakelike. After many tries, this is what I came up with.

After slimming her up a bit, I settled with a more improved Paint.net version of Denize. A floating truncated version with her legs hidden is also included for comparison.

The key takeaway was that my fan art rework of Denize was meant to make her more towering and imposing, not just serpentine. And also a little tough, as I surmise some extra girth towards the waist and hips may be what gives her some buoyancy when she floats.

Apparently, my second take of a pure Paint.net picture of her made her look more like a terrifying giant that's a fraction the size of Godzilla, so I decided to shrink Denize down a bit to a more reasonable size with an extra revision.

Here's Hilda for scale, pun intended!

  • Hey @_Elsa_! Here are some transparent full images of Denize and Didi that you can play around with if you like!

Thanks for tagging me. I saved them for future use. Thank you!

  • OK, now here's my best version of Izzy to close out a Year of the Dragon!

This time, I put in extra effort to make her look tall, imposing and friendly. The challenge here was to determine a good max girth that allows her long, serpentine body to command an imposing, towering appearance. I gave her a slim, long neck to start with, and would slightly increase her girth from the shoulders at the top of the torso as I started down her body. Wider girths would detract from the length of her snakelike body, since a long snakelike body like hers can appear to be less flexible as its girth increases. Increasing the girth too gradually may make her head stand out more than her body, a problem that plagued my initial definitive fan art of her in May 2023. I would be tempted to increase her girth as I got down to her stomach and hips level, musing that this could help her float, but after looking over that design decision, I decided to make that part of her body not too girthy and let most of her body from the stomach to the hips maintain an only slightly increased, consistent max girth, before the girth now had to start tapering on the way to the tail.
