You must put in a lot of work to get 10,000 points, as quite a number must come from reactions to posts (and it would appear that the vast majority doesn't react!). Therefore, I think that there should be a special badge for that achievement (and perhaps more than two points when you're awarded it).
My profile doesn't even show the number of badges or points, so I'd have to add them up myself!

I'm not against any badges.
If community members want a badge for something, let them get those badges for whatever they want.
I just don't understand all this race for badges and points and reactions to messages.
If it's someone's goal in the community ... Well ok. I take it as it is. We are all different...
