Just press the reaction buttons more often and the icons will fall on you like golden rain)))).

Imagine a hypothetical situation.
For example, I want to get a badge for reactions. I really really want it.
What will I do?
I will open any topic and press reaction buttons on all posts in that topic. After the messages in this thread are over, I will go to another topic and there I will again click on the reaction buttons in all messages.
The process can be endless.
And I will easily earn all the badges.

Well, how do you imagine it ?.
I imagine your version as follows.
I go to the topic, give one of the community members a reaction. Then I want to give my reaction to another member of the community. But I cannot do this, because (in your version) there is a limit on reactions in time.
How will I proceed further?
1. If I need a badge for reactions, I will patiently wait until I can click on the reaction icon again and earn myself a micro-piece of karma to get another badge for the reactions sent.
2. If I do not strive to get a badge for reactions, then I will simply leave the topic, go further through the open spaces of the community, and as a result, I will forget about the message that I wanted to mark the reaction to a couple of days ago. (This is an obvious option for me.)

That was from your perspective not mine ๐ , my perspective in general is to add a number in your account/profile and this number tells you how many times you've reacted in topics/comments/etc , from the bright side this encourage many to react on the topics/comments within a sort of limitation of course to not over do it in some wrong way ๐ค .
It's that simple and that's what this badge for ๐๏ธ !
