    Hi @Spinnifix

Thank you for such an important thread. I am still learning a lot about the community, and the international sector.

I am not fluent in any languages other than English and have used the translator. I fully understand the issues faced and how it can be misinterpreted, and think you all do a wonderful job. You try so hard and are extremely dedicated.

I have just posted a comment in German, then used the translator to convert to English, and it does sound quite different, not one that I would mean to come across.

I know I am not alone in saying how much we appreciate all of you. You are a huge part of the community and open doors for us all to be part of that, and experience new languages. Thank you 🤗

I can imagine, as you did so well with them. I try my best, but I still manage to miss things - even now I have your quoted message twice and can't edit one out. I even used to get confused at times between Spanish and Italian!

    Level 3

As one who loves learning about other cultures, I am very grateful there are translators - one of my favorite authors is from Argentina (Jorge Luis Borges), yet I know only a phrase or two in Spanish.

I wish translation apps existed when I lived in Europe as a kid (ages ago). On a trip around.Germany, on the autobahn, I kept wondering how big a certain city was, as there were so many exit signs for it - turned out it was German for “exit” - I was an idiot. 😬

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
