This is exactly the reason we are so excited about having Audio Rooms here inside King's Community!🤩 Music creation is a complex and magical process and while some players might enjoy the new tracks, some might be missing old tracks, and that is great! Everyone is different and that's why the world is so beautiful🌎️❤️ It was definitely a challenging task to add new music to the game that only had 5 minutes worth of music for the whole 10 years, but together with a great team and all the players that were longing for new content, we felt that it was due to be renewed.😊 However, we are here to listen to you and to all the other players around the globe and who knows, maybe if an opportunity comes we could give the old soundtrack a new spin in addition to the current tracks and all the future music we are planning to bring to our beloved game! 💥 Would this be something of your interest? Maybe you could also share with us which sonic qualities from the OST you are missing in the new tracks the most, and we will surely take a note of that! 📜Also many thanks for reporting an issue regarding re-triggering, and regarding the bugs you have mentioned. Would you be able to provide us some more details on the issues you are referring to when going to the map for the first time or when starting a level? Many thanks! 😊🌸

Thank you for such a great work. The music is relaxing and I like it. I'm usually not turn on the sound when playing CCS to save my phone's battery. But this time I have open it because I like it.

thank you for the kind words. It is well appreciated, and I am glad you like what you hear.
To answer your question, I primarily use the computer for composing, creating demos and also for reviewing the orchestrations. For me, it is just so much faster. It is probably the norm today as well when it comes to all kinds of media music being recorded (video games, commercials, tv- and film).
I do envy sometimes though that people like Ennio Morricone could compose on paper directly even before sitting by the piano; essentially hearing the music directly in his mind.

thank you for the kind words. It's very well appreciated.
The work on the new music started around a year before November 2022 (when the 10th anniversary took place). It's hard to put a definite timestamp on the actual composition work as this process also entailed a lot of prototyping work where we tried to find the new "sound" for the new music. In addition there were a lot of time spent on planning for the recordings and everything that needed to be done leading up to that such as orchestration, as well as the mixing and mastering that followed.
If I had to guess though the actual composition time for what is ultimately heard in the game was in total around a month or two.
