Valentine's is one of my favorites because my first born one and only son was born on valentine's day in 1997 💗 this my son that has battled cancer since the age of 15. So I hold a very special love for the holiday in my heart ❤️ most people live the holiday because it's a sweethearts holiday don't get me wrong I love my husband and he loves me we don't need to spend lots of money on flowers, cards, and chocolates to know this so a simple I love you and spending the day together is enough for me 😍

Hi @_Elsa_ this is a great thread. I would love to see how different countries celebrate this day.
My husband and I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day anymore. Got tired of trying to go out for dinner, the restaurants are always crowded. I’m really not a Chocolate fan, and flowers I get anytime, not just for Valentine’s Day. Here in the US every special occasion is driven by money.
