This Easter I went to church with my neighbor's family. It was such an uplifting experience. I hadn't been since my mom passed away. My family had a tradition of going to church and then my mom would make Carnickel (Hase which means rabbit) with rotkohl (red cabbage) and Kartoffelknodel (potato dumplings). Kind of ironic now that I think about it that we ate rabbit on Easter! Or wait, was that Christmas Day we ate rabbit!??!!!

The only spring celebration that we have as a family is the going shopping for spring clothes every year. Then the winter clothes go into a trunk. All the Spring clothes come out and then we shop for new spring clothes.

Happy Easter (belated), I was enjoying at that moment on Easter day (it wasn't the exact day) of eating just one egg filled with chocolate and it was delicious to eat the whole egg (it wasn't because I was overeating). and I also shared the pieces I was distributing to my father. 😄🥚🍫😋

So, that would be my Easter arguments and I came for the very creative badge! 😁

This year we didn't do much for Easter, my daughter had to work or otherwise I would have barbequed and made some potatoe salad. We did exchange chocolate 🍫 Easter Bunnies something neither one of us expected from the other.
