@FluffyDinosaur I enjoy any event where I can earn a badge, but my favorite is the team events. It brings people together.

Also I agree with @Scooterpie that we need to add a new reaction or two. WOW is a good one.

@FluffyDinosaur something that I see very often that really bothers me is when a newbie posts their first few messages and no one responds. If I were a newbie I would think the community a cold and unfriendly place.

Another thing that makes this community seem unfriendly is the message given to players not posting in English. They are told only English can be spoken and then their post of another language is completely edited out. If my post was erased I would feel unwanted. Is it possible to put that TRANSLATE button on every thread in every area?

@FluffyDinosaur an issue that bothers many of us is the lack of team events in Farm Hero Saga and the inability of many to get the dachs delivery service in Candy Crush Friends

@rebelchild I agree with you about:

    • private messages,
    • reactions and
    • posts in other languages!

If I remember well, the decision to restrict simple members to communicate with p.m. was taken because of an isolated incident: there was abuse by some members! However it was running smoothly for all years before! I believe that this kind of incidents are very rare to put a restriction to all members (except the staff)!

Reactions: one or more reactions need to be added! "Wow" is a very good one, as I mentioned in one of my previous posts!

Non English posts editing: this is a very serious part that has to be under microscope, if we want to make the Community better! The way that the posts are edited makes the Community seem unfriendly as @rebelchild said before!

When I was a mod, as I am familiar with several languages,in many cases I was answering to the member's question in English, explaining them to use a translator from now on and post in English. Unfortunatelly, some times the GE or a CM were reviewing the non English message before me, they were editing and the initial text was lost, so any answer to the member was impossible!

We have to think that a great percentage of players are overaged people who do not speak English! With this behavior we drive them away instead of attracting them!

My suggestion is to keep the initial post in its language and have an answer to them in English, so that it would be obvious that we want to help them!

    @FluffyDinosaur

  • @Kerrie l give also a vote for:

    • Stretched images if they were posted on mobile and they are viewing on P.C. and vice versa.
    • The fact that mods cannot tag players.

I add here one more minor issue, that also has been mentioned before, but I suppose it has been forgotten: badges on our profile page are too small!

  • @95chata you did well coming here and giving your ideas my friend!

I also believe that it could be very helpful if people from the Studio were coming here and answering to members' questions! This is a very good suggestion!

I also believe that the Community is "silent" at least in some areas for the last 2 - 3 years! Members need something to discuss and this is mainly the games! If there is interest for the games, there are discussions! When a game has features, the players discuss about them! If a game lacks of features, then the discussions tend to be decreased…

I was thinking the exact same thing. But a few weeks ago I found out that my email address was not showing under my profile here in the Community and I selected the feature to include my personal address in my profile. When I checked your profile your email address was not visible. So if everyone changed their profile to include their personal email address we can email each other privately, not on the King server which I feel was done to free up some server space. Have a great day 😊

  • I have a suggestion about making the King community better. Each player profile should include details for all posts, like pending, under review, or posted, and there should be a status update for all posts. I am still not sure if everything I post is actually posted. I have to number my posts and include the date and time because it gets confusing when my posts appear out of order.

To illustrate this I am going to edit the post above with to @rebelchild to see if this happens again today. I am also re-posting the comment here as follows:

I completely agree with @rebelchild about private messages. It felt more like a actual community when we had them. To me the community seemed happier, pleasant and friendlier when we had the PM feature.

That's a great point about the messages not in English edited out @rebelchild I hadn't thought much about it.

This is where the PM function would be useful. The comment could be left up when given the only English response. Someone that speaks that language here could help them with a PM.

The response could make people feel unwelcome if they don't speak English. It's directed at the language but I can see that it could be taken personally.

When we did have the PMs I was helped and helped others many times. I think it's hard for the majority of people to ask a question in public everyone will see. It's a little like public speaking to me. I don't have a problem asking questions or public speaking but my 23 year old son would never do it.

Most people are not aware of this but public speaking is feared more than death itself. It sounds crazy, but that's what people say. Is there any truth to this? In fact, the vast majority of people rank fear of public speaking as number one – 75% according to the National Institutes of Mental Health.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
