Yes after the last update I lost all of my ‘friends’ and can’t receive any lives. I never had it linked to Facebook so the friends were just randomly assigned by the game. Now they are all gone. I play on iPhone.

log out of the game (you will be logged in via Facebook) and log in VIA EMAIL - ie; sign up for a King login. If you do this you will be able to use your free lives in the message box!!!!
