Thanks @lim I’ve spent so much time playing all my King games all day long that I’ve hardly been able to read things properly for the last few day as my eyes keep going blurry. In the U.K. they are shutting all schools on Friday and cancelling all exams. The supermarket situation is shocking as some ‘idiots’ just clear the shops of everything even care homes are running out of food. I just got my normal weeks shopping last weekend and am now wondering whether I will be able to find any this week as the shelves are empty of everything. The supermarkets are dedicating the first hour of opening to the elderly and disabled but are finding it difficult to enforce. At least their are some unselfish people still around as there are people offering to help anyone they can with shopping etc.

There is no way you could buy face masks over here as I’ve never seen them for sale..only decorators masks. No sanitisers either as the ‘idiots’ have cleared the lot! No soap..nothing! They want those of us that are at risk to socially distance ourselves for 12 weeks but make it impossible as we will need to go to the shops everyday just to try to get essentials.

@Sharon_Loose I hear you! Sainsburys was completely out of the usual supplies so they moved onto every baby item they could and even feminine care supplies and Wilko's was the same! Only they are dropping deliveries in a couple of weeks which makes no sense.

Schools have shut for the majority, but the key workers children and certain others will still be going. Us staff are on a rota for their care. But it is care, not education. They have given our own children work, but nobody will check it so its up to us to do it or not.

Its sad to think that my lo had the best teacher and before the time she might not be going back in her class 😢

I am supposed to be staying home, so I will mostly. My daughter who is pregnant (not the lo) has just been told to stay home from work for 12 weeks, which seeing as she was exhausted and in a lot of pain, is better for her.
