Level 3706. What does it take to clear the candy outlined in black, not sure what that is called. Adjacent candies cleared do not affect them. Striped candies don't either. Fish candies don't either.

on level 2972, iPad version 16.7.11. The podium contest is supposed to give winners badges for finishing in the top three players. I have completed three levels on the first try, but I am not getting winners badges. Is this part of the glitch others have complained about since May 19?
