Have the fish ever eaten a blocker, cleared under a dragon or made what would be a helpful move on any level you have played? If the answer is yes, then they are smart. There might be a range you can get by the end of a single episode that varies +-50 so like 1800 to 1900 so hitting the same number is not that strange.
