Answer: No. They decided that is is like it is, and slapped us all in the face with it, laughing at all the complaints, doing nothing than to add more annoying features to make more money out of the game while it goes downhill.

Same happened to me today, but I already had my progress saved to an account. So nothing was lost. Phew.

Does any of them developers ever read on this forum and see how frustrated players are about the game anyway?

Yeah perfectly normal competitive players on those screenshots. Simple math. 1,000 trophies survival runs, or about 700 trophies per hour collection runs are perfectly possible. Also steps and wumpa fruits can be collected in advance before the season start.
