I hear what you say but I am quite advanced on the levels and it was nice now and again to use the gold bars, when accumulated, to buy extra moves on a particular difficult level. I never used the gold bars to buy boosters as I collected these from other means. I still believe it is a ploy to get people to pay for gold…
