To determine where the error might lie for the players, we would actually need to know on which platform the error is occurring—and, if it is within the app, whether the latest version (currently version 6.90.15 on all platforms that support the app) is installed.

In the Windows app, you should currently have the Timber Crew and the Farmers' Market. You must play new levels to earn rewards (boosters and gold bars). You can claim boosters immediately, while you receive the gold bars after reaching a milestone or at the end of the event (Timber Crew).
